DELTA®-MS is a highly effective foundation waterproofing and dampproofing system, based on a uniquely formed air-gap membrane.

Product Description

DELTA®-MS is made of a special high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin.

The membrane is remarkably impermeable to water and water vapor and unaffected by acidic or alkaline environments. Equipped with highly efficient additive packages, the HDPE is stabilized against oxidation and provides outstanding compressive strength, impact resistance, chemical and environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR).

DELTA®-MS is the only dimpled membrane in the market that is being manufactured in a co-extrusion process, utilizing virgin polyethylene on the outside layers and post-industrial recycled HDPE in the middle. Thus the product is significantly more resilient to environmental influences like oxygen, acidic soils or alkaline environments (concrete wall), etc. Tests performed by independent and accredited laboratories prove the unrivaled long-term performance.

The membrane is vacuum formed in a dimpled pattern to create an air-gap at the foundation wall. This unique design allows any water getting past the dimpled membrane to fall freely to the footer drain.

DELTA®-MS is available in many sizes to cover any foundation with a minimum of overlaps and seams.

Product Application

The air-gap, which is created by the impermeable dimpled sheet, guarantees a safe separation between the foundation wall and any ground-moisture. Thus the membrane keeps water from ever touching the wall on its way through the soil to the footing drainage system. If water were to cross the sheet anywhere, the air-gap would allow it to drain without building up any hydrostatic pressure. The air-gap also allows the foundation wall to "breathe". During back-fill operations the tough membrane serves as a protection layer. If DELTA®-MS is used on top of sheet or spray applied waterproofing systems it provides highly effective protection from damages caused by back-filling operations.

Unlike any coating, DELTA®-MS bridges large cracks, ignores damage points and deflects water as well as soil dampness. In addition it condenses and drains away construction moisture, directing it to the footing drain.

DELTA®-MS is up to one half of the price of conventional waterproofing systems while offering a complete protection system for foundation walls.

This product can also be utilized as protection layer over spray or sheet applied waterproofing systems.
