DELTA®-PTThe Moisture Protection Membrane designed for Renovation of Underground Structures
DELTA®-PT is a waterproof polyolefin sheet with excellent impact properties and compressive strength. The surface of this air-gap membrane is specifically textured and has an integrated HDPE mesh for secure bonding of plaster materials.
DELTA®-PT provides a waterproof surface for gypsum and cement based plaster materials. The installation of drywall over DELTA®-PT is also possible. The membrane provides a ventilation space of apprx. 8 mm between the moist foundation wall and the plaster. The moisture can escape through the ventilation openings at the bottom and top, thus keeping all surface materials permanently dry. DELTA®-PT can also be utilized as highly efficient drainage system for tunnel renovations.
DELTA®-PT is installed vertically with overlaps of apprx. 20 cm. The membrane is fastened to the foundation wall with fasteners every 30 cm. In the bottom and top area a minimum space of 10 mm must be provided to ensure proper ventilation.
